The 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were handed out this evening at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Burbank, California. Hosted by Extra TV’s Mario Lopez and “The Talk’s” Sheryl Underwood, the live event celebrated the 50th anniversary of “Sesame Street”, the 25th anniversary of “Extra” and gave the Lifetime Achievement Award to Judge Judy. Actress Amy Poehler made a surprise appearance at the event to honor her. Judy joked that Amy is now her new best friend.
