Mary J. Blige was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 19th annual BET Awards.
Rihanna was on hand to present Mary with the prestigious award, listing her many career achievements including multi-platinum nine Grammy Awards and 32 Grammy nominations and two Academy Award nominations for her work in the movie “Mudbound.”
After her inspiring speech, in which she thanked everyone who supported her in her career including musical powerhouses Sean Diddy Combs, Jimmy Iovine, and Andre Harrell. Mary took the stage for funk- filled medley of her hits, including “Be Without You”, “No More Drama” and “Family Affair.”
