Primetime Emmys 2019 – Complete Winner List

Fox hosted the 71st Annual Emmy Awards aired tonight (Sunday, September 22) on FOX. Some of the night’s early winners include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Game of Thrones,”  “Chernobyl” and “Fleabag.”

“Game of Thrones” took home the Outstanding Drama Series closing out the series with 12 Emmys for the final season of work. “Fleabag,” a comedy on Amazon Prime upset favorites “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and in it’s final season, “Veep.”

The night didn’t have a host, following The Oscars lead with no host. The presenters did a great job of keeping the night moving and also funny. Adam Devine kept the night interesting to say the least with a musical number to introduce the variety series categories. It didn’t quite work but he did recognize that when he said, say see you at the Tonys.
