“Saturday Night Live” saw a familiar face with alum Will Farrell returning to the show where he got his start as the night’s host. Farell wasn’t the only one returning. Many of his former castmates returned for the cold open, Democratic Debate sketch featuring Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Fred Armisen, Woody Harrelson and Larry David.
Also making a guest appearance on the show tonight was Ryan Reynolds who appeared in the monologue with Will and then later during a Weekend Update piece.
The musical guest was King Princess. The pop newcomer took the show to give live, intimate performances the singles “1950” and “Hit the Back” from her debut album “Cheap Queen.”
