Kenny Rogers passed away at the age of 81.
Kenny Rogers passed away at the age of 81.

TVMusic Network remembers country music legend, Kenny Rogers. The singer, who had such classic hits as “Lady, written by Lionel Richie” “The Gambler” and the Dolly Parton duet, “Islands in the Stream,” passed away over the weekend. He was 81.

He died at home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, representative Keith Hagan told The Associated Press. He was under hospice care and died of natural causes.
