The 2020 Emmys were held in Los Angeles at The Staples Center with host Jimmy Kimmel. In another awards show without an audience, ABC held a 90% virtual ceremony. A few celebrities presented awards live in person, including Jennifer Anniston, Sterling K. Brown and Anthony Anderson.

The PopTV Comedy, “Schitt’s Creek” took home seven out of seven Emmys in the comedy categories, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting awards for the core 4 actors, Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy.

In the night’s Emmy shocker, Zendaya took home her first Emmy for her role in the powerful drama “Euphoria” which airs on HBO.

Tyler Perry was honored with the Governors Award, which is given to honor achievement in television.
