Usher Returns to ‘The Voice’ as Season 19 Mega Mentor

Usher returns to “The Voice,” this time as the Mega Mentor on Season 19. Kelly Clarkson mentioned the mentoring on her talk show while interviewing Usher who was a guest on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Usher was a coach on seasons Four and Six of the show, and won Season 6 with Josh Kaufman.

Usher was also a mentor for John Legend’s team for Season 17.

Usher has recently released the single “Don’t Waste My Time,” which hit #1 on Billboard’s R&B chart, as well as “I Cry,” a powerful and emotional song about the social and racial injustices of our time. Usher is currently in the studio recording his ninth studio album which will be released in late 2020 and will be in Las Vegas for a residency in 2021.

The Voice” returns on October 19th on NBC.
