“American Idol” Season 4 on ABC returned to TV. The first two episodes consist of two hours of auditions. Auditions took place in various cities in California due to Covid 19. After auditioning, the hopefuls try to get to the next level to attend Hollywood Week. Helping to determine who America will ultimately vote for to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie with Ryan Seacrest returning as host of the Emmy-nominated series.
