The Event is broadcast live to North America and Latin America on Friday, October 28, with the rest of the world receiving the broadcast on Saturday, October 29 due to local time zones. Repeat screenings will also be available worldwide.

The film presentation is expected to feature many of Coldplay’s biggest hits, including “Viva La Vida,” “Fix You,” “Yellow,” and songs from their Music of the Spheres album. The tour has been praised for its vibrant production design, environmental initiatives, and emotional connection with audiences — all elements that translate beautifully to the cinematic format.

In addition to the music, fans can expect behind‑the‑scenes moments, crowd interactions, and the kind of uplifting atmosphere Coldplay is known for. The Buenos Aires crowd has been especially energetic throughout the tour, making this stop a perfect choice for a global theatrical release.

Jin of BTS will be a special guest at the concert, where he and the band will perform Jin’s new solo single The Astronaut (co-written by Coldplay and Jin). Plus, of course, the show will see the band play classic hits from across their career in a stadium bursting with lights, lasers, fireworks and LED wristbands.
