American Idol Season 21 continued with The Top 26 contestants in Hawaii on Monday, April 17th. The season started off with its traditional audition episodes that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada and Nashville, Tennessee. After the auditions, the hopefuls arrived in Los Angeles for group rounds and a chance to advance to the live shows. Showstoppers and the Final Judgment Part 1 and 2 which ended with The Top 26 announced. The second half of The Top 26 performed for America’s vote. The Top 20 will be announced on Sunday, April
Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Byran return for their sixth season on the panel. Ryan Seacrest also returns to the show as the host for the past 21 seasons.
