“American Idol” has announced the performers for their upcoming Season Finale episode airing live Sunday, May 21 at 8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT | 5:00-8:00 p.m. PDT.
The live coast-to-coast, three-hour season finale features special performances from music legends and today’s top artists, with the Top 3 contestants taking the stage for the final time as America decides who will become the next American Idol. Country superstar and former American Idol judge Keith Urban returns to the Idol stage for a spectacular performance plus he will mentor the Top 3 for their performances as they vie for the title of the next American Idol.
Speaking of performances, our all-star judges, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will each perform. Also performing are this season’s Top 12 contestants, Idol alums Clay Aiken & Ruben Studdard, Ellie Goulding, James Blunt, Jazmine Sullivan, Jelly Roll, Kevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon, Kylie Minogue, Lainey Wilson, Lauren Daigle, Pitbull, TLC and more.
