The 76th annual Tony Awards winners were announced this evening after being shown on Paramount+ and CBS. The ceremony, which went on without a script due to the ongoing Writer’s Strike, was hosted by Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose from the United Palace in New York City. The pre-show was hosted by Skylar Astin and Julianna Hough. The night featured performances from Broadway’s best musicals and revivals, including “Camelot”; “Into the Woods”; “& Juliet”; “Kimberly Akimbo”; “New York, New York”; “Parade”; “Shucked”; “Some Like It Hot”; and “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.” Joel Gray and John Kander received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
