Reba McEntire lands a pilot order from NBC. The multi-camera comedy sees Reba as a woman who inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover that she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.
Reba will star and executive produce with Kevin Abbott, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, and Julie Abbott also serving as executive producers.
Reba, a multi-media entertainment mogul, has become a household name through a successful career that includes music, television, film, theater, retail and hospitality.
She currently serves as a coach on the Emmy-winning NBC series, “The Voice.”
