Louis Gossett Jr passed away on March 29th. He was 87.
Louis Gossett, Jr., whose acclaimed performances included the TV series “Roots,” earned him an Emmy and the film “An Officer and the Gentleman,” for which he became the first African American actor to win a best supporting actor Oscar.

TVMusic Network has had the opportunity to speak with Lou Gossett Jr several times. He was always so sweet and humble about his talents. RIP Lou. Thanks for your talent.
