Celebrity stylist Kayli must team up with hotel security chief Mills to track down an iconic piece of fashion history after it goes missing on her watch before the Chicago Costume Gala. Starring Lyndsy Fonseca and Peter Porte. Premieres Saturday, June 20 at 8/7c. Streaming Next Day on Hallmark+.
In the movie set in Chicago, Kayli and Mills meet when she checks into the hotel where Mills is in charge of security. As a stylist for high profile celebrity clients, Kayli’s job often requires her to handle historical and valuable fashion pieces. On this trip, Kayli carries an Elizabeth Taylor gown that must stay in her site at all times. When the gown goes missing, Kayli and Mills must track it down before both lose their jobs and face criminal charges.
Set in Chicago, the movie allows to the characters to establish the neighborhood. We learn about Mills as a result when he visits his surrogate aunts who own the local coffee shop. The military man who wants a promotion so he can travel, something that he misses from his military days. As the two investigate in theft of the gown, they fall in love.
