Rock Legends Billy Idol and Steve Stevens were inducted onto the Guitar Center’s Hollywood Rockwalk, the landmark Sunset Boulevard handprint ceremony that honors artists and industry pioneers who left a lasting impact on music history.

It’s been quite a year for the duo who wrote such 80s anthems as “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding,” and “Eyes Without a Face,” received the American Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award and they will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a ceremony later this year.

On hand to honor the duo was DJ, author, and radio personality Richard Blade. During the ceremony, the duo shared their history of meeting each other for the first time, a young music lover from Brooklyn, New York and a kid from London. That meeting led to a 45-year partnership that was responsible songs that became the soundtrack of our lives.
