“Dwayne and Whitley Forever!” That phrase turned out to be true as the classic sitcom “A Different World” is getting a reboot on Netflix. In the sequel, we head back to Hillman College to follow Deborah Wayne, the youngest daughter of Dwayne Wayne (Hardison) and Whitley Gilbert (Guy), as she begins her freshman year at her parents’ HBCU alma mater and works to step out from their shadow to build her own identity. The show’s original cast will appear in supporting roles.
