It was Andrew Lloyd Webber night on “The Masked Singer.” The Broadway legend has written many songs and musicals including The Phantom of the Opera”, “Cats” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.” With a new set of singers, the three new celebrities Mermaid, Maize and Robo Girl. The winner of the round will compete against the Harp in the semi-finals.

The night itself was a bit chaotic as the US version of the episode got delayed from baseball and then ultimately preempted until this week. Canada aired the episode on schedule so spoilers got out.
At the end of the night, Robo Girl was crowned queen of the night sending Maize and Mermaid. Maize turned out to be actor and comedian Mario Cantone (Sex and the City). The Mermaid turned out to be R & B legend, Gloria Gaynor.
