Weekend Movies Box Office Results July 31st, 2023 are in. As we head into August, “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” are still dominating theaters.
The Greta Gerwig-directed “Barbie” took in another $93,000,000 in its 2nd week of release giving the movie a total of $350 million domestic.
In second place was “Oppenheimer” with $46,200,000 in its 2nd week. The phenomenon of people seeing both movies as a double feature continues.
Disney’s “Haunted Mansion” debuted in 3rd place with $24,200,000. Based on the Disneyland attraction, the movie stars Rosario Dawson, Lakeith Stanfield, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tiffany Haddish, and Owen Wilson.
