Netflix held an event to announce its upcoming movies and show for 2025 called “You’re Not Ready” 2025. The event at the Egyptian Theatre was simultaneously live streamed across 12 countries where local events were taking place. A billboard promoting the event was displayed on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

TUDUM the global fan event will live stream on Netflix on May 31 from the Kia Forum, in LA – Netflix fans, mark your calendars: Global fan event Tudum is making its triumphant clutch-your-faces-and-scream return. On May 31 for the first time ever, Tudum will stream live on Netflix, carrying on a tradition of exclusive content, celebrity appearances, and sneak peeks into your favorite titles. Held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, fans around the world will also be able to tune in and catch all the action live, including exciting performances, cutting-edge comedy, and one mind-blowing reveal after another.
All-new global toy line from Stranger Things and Jazwares – Jazwares, one of the world’s leading toy companies, and Netflix are teaming up to bring an all-new product collection for Stranger Things fans of all ages. Marking the first global master licensing agreement for Netflix and the iconic Stranger Things franchise, Jazwares will launch a robust product line inspired by the show’s beloved characters and themes from the highly anticipated Stranger Things 5 season and its animated series spinoff currently in the works.

Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Destination Wedding (Film) and Tyler Perry’s “She The People” (Series) – Netflix and Tyler Perry announced two new projects: a new film, Madea’s Destination Wedding, and a new comedy series, She The People. Netflix also released a first-look images from these projects and unveiled Tyler Perry’s entire 2025 slate, which includes Part 2 of the hit drama series Beauty in
Black, set to return on March 6, 2025; the drama feature Straw; and the faith-based feature R&B.
Eddie (Documentary Film) – A look at Eddie Murphy’s career, “EDDIE,” a forthcoming documentary, chronicles his meteoric rise from teen comic phenom to Saturday Night Live breakout and stand-up supernova to box-office titan. It illuminates the evolution of Eddie Murphy — the trails he blazed and the records he broke on his way from Brooklyn upstart to Hollywood icon. In this intimate portrait, the Oscar-nominated actor opens up his home and dives deep into his eclectic career of nearly 50 years.
