The Sunset Marquis hotel was the worst kept secret in West Hollywood where artists could live the Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll lifestyle with a sense of privacy. Many have heard of the Continental Hyatt House (a.k.a. Riot House, now the Andaz West Hollywood) and the clubs The Whiskey-A- Go Go and the Rainbow Bar and Grill but the hotel is hiding in plain sight, at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Alta Loma Road.
