'So You Think You Can Dance' salutes Gene Kelly's 100th birthday with tribute dance

So You Think You Can Dance” tonight paid tribute to one of the most famous dancers and choreographers of all time, Gene Kelly.  Gene Kelly’s 100th birthday would have been this year.

During the show’s opening number, the Top 10 dancers wowed the audience with a number choreographed by Tyce Diorio. Some of Kelly’s most famous cinematic moments including numbers from “Singing in the Rain,” “On the Town” and “An American in Paris.”

At the end of the evening two great dancers Audrey Case and George Lawrence Jr. were sent home.
