Daytime Emmy Awards 2017: watch nomination reels for Outstanding Younger Actor

The Daytime Emmy Awards are just around the corner where they will be handed out live on Sunday, April 30 in Pasadena. The nominations reels in the acting categories are now being posted on the Daytime Emmys YouTube Channel for fans to see.

In the Outstanding Young Actor category, the nominees are:  

Bryan Craig, as Morgan Corinthos on “General Hospital,” Pierson Fodé, as Thomas Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” James Lastovic, as Joey Johnson on “Days of Our Lives,” Tequan Richmond, as TJ Ashford on “General Hospital” and Anthony Turpel, as R.J. Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

This marks soap newcomers Turpel’s and Lastovic’s first nominations. Last year’s winner in this category, Craig returns to the Emmy spotlight with his 4th nomination for his role as Morgan Corinthos on “General Hospital.” Craig left the role in late 2016.

Morgan gets committed to a mental hospital to deal with his illness.
