‘Black Panther’: Marvel’s latest feature gets first look trailer

The trailer for “Black Panther” was released during Game 4 of the NBA Finals with the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. First introduced in last summer’s “Captain America: Civil Wars,” the movie stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa who returns to his native country Wakanda after the death in “Civil War.”

Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis, Daniel Kaluuya and Michael B. Jordan also star.

The movie will be directed by Ryan Coogler who will helm his third with Jordan.

The movie’s synopsis:

“After the events of ‘Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War,’ King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.”
