Song of the Day: Remembering Tom Petty – ‘Don’t Come Around Here No More’

Music superstar Tom Petty passed away this week. The 66-year-old singer-songwriter led the Heartbreakers had a string of rock hits on the Billboard Charts including “Free Fallin,” “Don’t Do Me Like That” and “Refugee.”

Petty was also a sought-after collaborator performing a duet “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” with Stevie Nicks and joining the superstar musical group, The Traveling Wilburys with music legends Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison.

He also was one of the many music video pioneers, with his memorable storytelling videos, which were on heavy rotation during MTV’s glory days.

Here is “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” with The Heartbreakers featuring Dave Stewert of Eurythmics.
