Soap fixture Jordi Vilasuso is heading to Genoa City, SOD reports. The Emmy winner has been cast on the #1 Daytime Drama and makes his debut on Friday, August 17 in the new role of Rey.
Rey is described as a mysterious stranger who quickly gets involved with the drama of the townspeople.
Vilasuso is best known to Daytime audiences for his roles as Griffin on “All My Chlildren,” Dario on “Days of our Lives,” and his Emmy Award-winning role as Tony on “Guiding Light. ”
“The Young and the Restless” air weekdays on CBS.
