Smashing Pumpkins Concert to be Live Streamed by Live Nation

Great news for Smashing Pumpkins fans! The band announced that the “Shiny And Oh So Bright” tour will be live-streamed to the world via The Live Nation Concert series on Twitter, on Friday, August 24 at 8:15 p.m. PT from Seattle, WA at live.twitter.com/thesmashingpumpkins

Fans outside of the US can access the live stream via http://www.hyperurl.co/hyyrsu.

The Smashing Pumpkins are currently on the road for their Shiny And Oh So Bright North American arena tour. 

This tour is the band’s first in nearly 20 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha. Longtime Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder, bassist Jack Bates, and keyboardist Katie Cole round out the lineup.

Formed in Chicago, IL in 1988, The Smashing Pumpkins released their heralded debut album Gish in 1991 and found mainstream success with 1993’s 4x multi-platinum Siamese Dream and 1995’s 10x multi-platinum Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. With nine studio albums and over 30 million albums sold to date and remains an influential force in alternative rock.
