Video interview: Dexter Roberts of ‘The Voice’ talks original song and working with coach Blake Shelton

In part one of the Season 16 The Voice finale on Monday, May 20 the final four performed live for America’s votes. 

Each finalist performed three times: one solo cover, a special duet with their coach and a debut of their original single.

Blake Shelton has three artists in the finale (Andrew Sevener, Gyth Rigdon and Dexter Roberts) while John Legend has one. (Maelyn Jarmon).  Kelly Clarkson’s and Adam Levine’s contestants are out of the running this season.

The Voice season finale kicked off Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and wraps up Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET. when the winner will be announced.

Performing on Tuesday will be The Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift,  Hootie and The Blowfish, Halsey, BTS and more.
