| The Flower was the latest celebrity contestant to go home on The Masked Singer

Another celebrity went home on tonight’s “The Masked Singer.” On the show, undercover celebrity singers face off against one another in dazzling head-to-toe costumes. Host Nick Cannon and panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke return as they attempt to guess the identities behind a new batch of Hollywood stars in all-new costumes with tougher clues.
In tonight’s fun-filled music episode, 4 more celebrities faced off – Flower, Leopard, Rotweiller, and Flamingo. At the end of the hour, the Flower was the latest celebrity to be eliminated. The Flower turned out to be music legend Patti LaBelle.
During the course of the series, LaBelle sang many classic songs such as Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” Sia’s “Cheap Thrills,” “Amazed” by Lonestar and “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor.
Some of the clues presented for Patti were that she appeared on Fox’s “Empire,” and has her famous pies that are sold at major retailers including Walmart.
One of the clues in the package had the number 524. Patti’s birthday is May 24 also, she is famously known for her flying dance when she sings. On several occasions, the background dancers during some of her performances duplicated the dance.

“The Masked Singer” airs Wednesdays on FOX with special holiday-themed episodes in December with a season finale episode on Wednesday, December 18 where the final three celebrities will be unmasked.
