American Idol Season 21’s premiere episode aired on Sunday, February 19th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The season started off with its traditional audition episodes that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada and Nashville, Tennessee.
After the auditions, the hopefuls will arrive in Los Angeles for group rounds and a chance to advance to the live shows.
Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Byran return for their sixth season on the panel. Ryan Seacrest also returns to the show as the host for the past 21 seasons.
