Daytime Emmy Awards Rescheduled for December 15 on CBS

THE 50TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY(R) AWARDS has been rescheduled to be broadcast LIVE Friday, December 15 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs)*. This year marks the 17th time CBS has broadcast the Daytime Emmy(R) Awards, more than any other network. ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT‘s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner will host the ceremony, set to take place at the Westin Bonaventure Los Angeles.

Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Susan Lucci, who was previously announced, will receive her Lifetime Achievement Honors at the gala awards ceremony.

Last year’s winner “General Hospital” leads the pack with a total of 19 nominations including a posthumous nod for the late Sonya Eddy who played Epiphany Johnson on the show. The four soaps did well with each getting multiple nods. “The Bold and the Beautiful” landed 14 noms, while “The Young and the Restless” and “Days of our Lives” got 13 and 11 noms respectively.

Of the talkers, The Kelly Clarkson Show received 11 nominations and The Drew Barrymore Show received a total of 7 nominations. The Jennifer Hudson Show received 6 nominations while Tamron Hall, Sherri and The View each received 4 nominations.
