Nelly Furtado to re-release ‘Whoa, Nelly!’ album on vinyl
Nelly Furtado will release her debut album “Whoa, Nelly!” on vinyl for the first time on August 9. The vinyl will feature five bonus tracks and will be available as a deluxe 2LP set pressed on standard black vinyl and a Limited-Edition 2LP version pressed on cotton candy pink and orange peel color vinyl with brand-new alternate cover art.
Originally released on October 24, 2000, the album achieved a double-platinum certification from the RIAA, while Nelly garnered a Grammy Award in 2002 for
“Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” for the platinum single “I’m Like A Bird.” The record’s tracks have also gathered north of 1 billion total streams and counting to date.
