Check out a sneak peek of the new CBS comedy “Poppa’s House” starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. In the show, premiering Monday, October 21, 2024, Wayans stars as legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” who has his point of view challenged at work when Ivy (Essence Atkins), a new female co-host, is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son, Junior, a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband to Nina (Tetona Jackson). In the series premiere, Poppa gets surprised at work when corporate brings in brainy psychologist Dr. Ivy Reid to add a female perspective to his radio show.
