“The Masked Singer” is coming back in a big way. FOX has given us a look at the costumes for the upcoming season. The new season premieres on Wednesday, September 25 at 8:00 p.m.
The show was TV’s #1 new show last season, captivating a massive audience of more than 17 million multi-platform viewers for its premiere. The series competition series is hosted by Nick Cannon and features panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke.
The show features celebrities facing off against one another with one major twist: each singer is shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, complete with a full face mask to conceal his or her identity.
Season Two boasts 16 celebrity singers in all-new costumes and masks, including The Flamingo, The Leopard, and The Egg.
The show is nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Costume Design – “The Masked Singer” — “Finale” (FOX) for Marina Toybina, Costume Designer and Grainne O’Sullivan, Costume Supervisor.
