The 2012 Independent Spirit Awards will be handed out today in Los Angeles. the show is the last one before the Oscars are handed out the following day. This years event will be hosted by Seth Rogen.
“The Artist” is nominated for a number of awards including Best Feature Film.
Set in Hollywood, 1927, “The Artist” tells the story of silent movie star George Valentin, who wonders if the arrival of talking pictures will cause him to fade into oblivion. He sparks with Peppy Miller, a young dancer set for a big break.
The film stars Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo, Missi Pyle, Penelope Ann Miller and John Goodman.
We caught up with the stars of the film at many Red Carpet events over the past few months. Here are interviews with two of the film’s stars Missi Pyle and Penelope Ann Miller.
