William H.Macy wins SAG Award for ‘Shameless’

“Shameless” actor William H. Macy of “Shameless” was honored with his third win at the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® presented by SAG-AFTRA for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Frank Gallagher. This is Macy’s second consecutive win in the category and fourth career win, previously being honored in 2017 and 2015 for “Shameless,” as well as in 2003 for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries (Door to Door).

“Shameless” also stars Golden Globe® nominee Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Allen White, Cameron Monaghan, Emma Kenney, Ethan Cutkosky, Steve Howey, Shanola Hampton and Isidora Goreshter. Created by Paul Abbott, “Shameless” is produced by Bonanza Productions in association with John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television.  The season eight finale of SHAMELESS airs next Sunday, January 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Recently picked up for a ninth season, production will resume later this year.
