Justin Bieber returned to “Saturday Night Live” tonight live from New York. “Insecure” star Issa Rae served as the night’s host.

For his first song, the Canadian born pop sensation, sang his new song “Holy” and was joined on stage by Chance the Rapper. Chance is no stranger to the SNL stage. He served as host and musical guest last year.

Bieber’s second song was a quiet but acoustic version of his new song “Lonely.” For the performance, Justin started in his dressing room before walking out to the stage to finish the song. Justin was accompanied on stage with Benny Blanco on piano who he wrote the song with.

Issa, Chance and SNL cast member Kyle Mooney did a Bieber- related sketch (the singer didn’t appear) about wanting to appear on stage with him as a dancer.

He last appeared as musical guest back in February of this year when RuPaul was host.
